It is announced by Toyota that it will unveil the next 2010 Toyota Prius at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2009.

You can expect the 3rd generation Prius to be bigger and more powerful with a 1.8 liters engine boosting horsepower from 110 to 160. The body will be about 3 to 4 inches inches longer and an inch wider. Now who dare say hybrid cars are cram and small!

And the Best of all features - Combined Fuel Economy Rating (for US) is expected to exceed 50 mpg or miles per gallon.
