I’ve been a student of business and a lifelong entrepreneur. I currently live on a floating home in Sausalito, California with my wife. I develop online businesses under the name Six Degrees Media Inc.
Below are a few pictures of my floating home in Sausalito, California .
My first business was a bicycle repair shop I sold when I was fourteen and used the proceeds to take my girlfriend to pool everyday, all summer.
During high school and college I had ran my own marine electronics business installing communications equipment on boats.
After getting an economics degree from Franklin & Marshall College , I went to work for an oceanographic research ship operator in Miami as a project manager and communications officer.
Next I went to Wall Street and joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) as an investment banker and venture capitalist, specializing in financing information and communications companies. Then I moved to San Francisco as Vice President of DLJ Alliance running a turn-around fund.
As the founder of Cosmic Communications I formed a group to purchase a broadcast license and created the first FM rock station in Los Angeles. I sold it five years later to The Outlet Company .
After being snowed in for five days by a freak snowstorm during the first Arab oil embargo, I got interested in alternative energy technologies.
In 1978 I formed Windfarms Ltd . to build large scale wind energy projects for utilities. With $16 million in start up financing from Chevron, we built a staff of 65 people and secured contracts for $2 billion in projects for Hawaiian Electric, PG&E, Southern California Edison and the Bonneville Power Administration.

My next venture was the creation of a company that produced award winning multimedia training products teaching soft business skills to employees of Fortune 500 companies.
In 1989 I became the Chairman and CEO of the San Francisco-Moscow Teleport Inc. where I led the team that designed, financed and built the first digital network in the Soviet Union, bringing the first 500 lines of direct dial telecommunications and data services into Moscow.
As the founder of Cyberports, Inc., I organized a team to build one of the first ISPs providing B2B networking services. It became part of Metropolitan Fiber.
Now I focus on developing technology companies and training modules to help online entrepreneurs and small businesses establish and maintain their web businesses. Currently we operate 2 businesses SellersVoice.com and SimpleMoneyMachines.com
Below are a few pictures of our office and employees.
I’ve been a ham radio operator (K1AUD & W4BZB) and held a First Class FCC Phone License. My passion is boats and sailing. My two children are all grown and married.
