Tortola Beaches... Best in the World!
Tortola Beaches are incredible! That was my
first impression when I first visited this British Virgin Island
during a surf trip over 20 years ago. I remember thinking that
these were not the same as most beaches I'd ever seen or visited.
Well, 20 years later I still feel the same way. Only I've been to a
lot more beaches in the last 20 years so I can make a better
comparison.
My passion for the ocean and surfing has kept
me in search of great tropical beaches around the
world. My traveling has taken
me to some great beach locations. Some of my destinations have been
in Hawaii, Central America, Mexico, throughout the Caribbean and
both coast of Australia. I've also experienced beaches of
California and the East Coast. Fortunately for me, I
discovered Tortola and don't have to travel around the globe to
visit my favorite island and best beaches!
Tortola has it all covered in the realm of
beaches.
All shapes and sizes with different
personalities and feel. Some are quiet and peaceful, others have
playful waves to keep everyone in the family happy. Each Tortola
beach is unique with something special to offer. Get ready to learn
why two 'professional' beachcombers choose Tortola beaches year
after year!
If you're searching for a fantastic
tropical getaway, you'll find what you want throughout this

Tortola-Sightseeing
It might seem that, in many ways, there is not a lot ‘to do’ on
Tortola – there’s a shortage of theme parks and fun fairs – but
there is certainly no shortage of things to see and places to go –
from the historic aspects of Caribbean life such as ruins of forts
and rum factories to breathtaking views from the top of the
island.
