Scientology Volunteer Ministers - What Makes them Effective

There are two major disasters going on right now in the ANZO area (Australia, New Zealand and Oceania) -- with the fires going on in Victoria, and the Typhoon which just hit in the Philippines. Now, Volunteer Minister teams are being dispatched to both locations -- but what are the technologies they use which makes them so effective? Governments praise them, the people on the ground wonder at why they can just get in and get things done -- but they're just people.

What's the difference between what they've got and what other groups might lack? The difference is that Scientology Volunteer Ministers are studied and drilled heaviliy in L. Ron Hubbard's organization technology -- for handling situations which seemingly are a confusing mass.

They're also drilled on L. Ron Hubbard's Scientology Assist Technology, which is a technology anyone can learn to help others. That in itself -- that anyone can learn it -- is something that Scientology Volunteer Ministers use to the hilt -- because when only a few hundred Scientology Volunteers hit a three-state disaster zone line Hurricane Katrina was, it's imperative that as many people as possible become empowered to themselves provide effective help to each other.

So, as an engineer concerned with Technology, that's where I salute the PEOPLE technologies like was created by L. Ron Hubbard and is put to use by Scientology Volunteer Ministers all over. I learned it -- and I think anyone else who could possibly run into similar such situations (which, if you live on earth, is you) -- should learn it.

Scientology Missions all over South Africa

November 4th, 2006

Ever since the Grand Opening of the Central Church of Scientology of South Africa in Johannesburg in 2003 (with Mr. David Miscavige as keynote speaker for the event), the Church there has been taking an ever-increasing role in terms of responsibility to the community as well as for expanding Scientology activities throughout the continent.

Of note recently:

31 March: The Scientology Volunteer Ministers Goodwill Tour, working in Maun, Botswana, work with government, civic and community leaders to make the technology of L. Ron Hubbard broadly available.

21 June: Drug-Free Marshals and East Wave FM teamed up and visited some of the primary school in Lenasia, South Africa. Their purpose was to provide a message about the life-ruining dangers of drugs and to hand out information fliers about the effects of drugs like dagga (cannabis), cocaine, mandrax (a synthetic drug that is highly addictive), alcohol, heroin and ecstasy.

The event was capped by the appearance of senior Scientology executive Mr. David Miscavige, Chairman of Religious Technology Center, custodian of the religious scriptures of Scientology.

Mr. David Miscavige’s presence to dedicate and open the new church was significant, both for him, personally, as a first-time visitor to the country, as well as for the parishioners of the 45-year-old Johannesburg church. “It is my honor to address you, to walk in a land where L. Ron Hubbard laid so many milestones, and on this, your milestone day,” he stated.

The Church of Scientology Stevens Creek of San Jose moved into its new, extremely expansive quarters in the fall of 2005. Right now the physically largest Scientology organization in the western United States, the Stevens Creek church services the many corporate executives and personnel who live and work around the San Jose / Silicon Valley area.

The Church, originally a Scientology Mission started by Scientologists from the Church of Scientology of San Francisco (see Grand Opening Speech, done by Mr. David Miscavige), is now a thriving church, which has expanded its membership greatly over the past 5 years, and in doing so has also been expanding its service to the community. There are actually three major, central Churches of Scientology in Silicon Valley - the Church of Scientology Stevens Creek, the Church of Scientology of Mountain View, and the Church of Scientology of Los Gatos — all of which offer convenient and beautiful premises, as well as the full gamut of what any full Scientology Organization can deliver.
