Well, during summer they all have amazing sorbet.
Probably during winter too, although some of the more seasonal summer
stuff may be missing.
But, by all means, try the sorbet at Berthillon, my favorite flavors include cassis, fraise des bois, framboise, cerise, etc...
Then there are the ice creams, and the seasonal stuff
there near Xmas can be really good too, here are some flavors I
remember from my last time there at that time: marron glace, creole
(rum raisin), cafe, etc...
In any case, at both locations, scan the long list of flavors for both the sorbet and creme glacee, and dive in !
I remember a few years ago, being really desperate, it
was close to Xmas, the lines were long because people were buying boxes
for the holiday meals, all I could get my hands on was a box of creme
glacee flavor marron glace. Isabelle and I and our two US friends on
visit, we just sat down with 4 plastic spoons on the bank of Seine
nearby and scooped it up. It was a dark and freezing night, yet, here
we were gorging on ice cream...
