His corporation builds casinos, and mega resorts. They are the leading hotel and casino builder. So what does this mean to society. Sure, Sheldon Adelson is #3 on the Forbes List of riches people.

Of course, he wealth skyrocketed from his company’s investment in casinos in Macao. It’s also helps that he owns 69% of the company.

Sheldon Adelson established a foundation in for his philanthropic efforts. His foundation has currently funded over $25 million to build a Jewish Academy in Las Vegas. Sheldon G Adelson foundation has also donated $25 millions for the birth right program for young Jews to go to Israel.

Sheldon Adelson has donated to medical research as well. He has funded for medical research on 10 diseases. I guess he wants to leave a humanitarian legacy as well.
