A couple attempts to establish contact, a
love-bond. They have suffered a loss, the nature of which only
gradually becomes clear. Continuing a theme explored by Gerardjan
Rijners in an earlier work, Pick-Up, this play draws its
inspiration from the realm of the abstract. Language and music are
surrogates for “action” – and a different musician, playing either
saxophone, piano, guitar or violin, accompanies the actors over the
course of the performances.
