If you're looking for information on David Berlind's Mashup Camp, you've come to the right place. It's a little over two weeks since Mashup Camp was announced on Dec 22, 2005 and we're just now getting this wiki organized so bear with us. It shouldn't be long before we have this site fleshed out with a ton of information regarding Mashup Camp. Mashup Camp will most likely be a 2 day event (with a longshot possibility of being pushed to 3 days). The target timeframe for the event is sometime between Feb 18 and Feb 25 (2006). The target location is Northern California... probably some place south of of the city (San Francisco) where parking is friendly. Exact details are getting worked out right now.

Who should come

Are you someone with a strong interest in taking something like Yahoo Maps ( attending!) and mashing it together with your Salesforce.com ( attending!) data to come up with some cool new innovative Web-based application? Or, are you thinking of building something unique and interesting on top of the APIs from Amazon.com ( attending!) and Eventful.com ( attending!)? Wanna join the elephant-in-the-room discussion about the business models behind mashups or one of the 14 other proposed sessions? Or, do you have a cool mashup that you think can win Mashup Camp's Best Mashup Award (first prize is hot!). Then Mashup Camp is for you. It's the only event where mashup developers get to rub shoulders with API providers, mashup enablers – for example, The Eclipse Foundation ( attending!) – and other mashup developers in a way that can only accelerate the evolution and pace of innovation in the just now-emerging mashup ecosystem. Unlike other events, you don't need an invite to come. But you do need to be one of the first 250 to confirm your attendance on EventSignup since there will be a limited amount of space. In other words, it's a first come, first served event.
